Vision Signing Choir had an amazing weekend at Jersey Eisteddfods 2017 Signing Choir Competition. We left on Friday with enthusiasm, determination and months of practice….
We returned on Sunday with not just 1, but 2 trophies!
Leah Jeffrey won the ‘Le Maistre Memorial Trophy’ for the Junior solo – signing Disney’s Moana ‘how far I’ll go’. Leah also achieved a Gold certificate.
VSC won the choir category and claimed the ‘Billy Dorkins Memorial Trophy’ and also achieved a gold certificate. We signed to Meatloaf’s ‘Bat out of hell’ and Sunset Boulevards ‘with one look”.
The whole day was fantastic from start to finish, and we are so proud of all who competed in the competition.
It was a weekend to remember and a lifetime of memories!
